The TWGA are very excited to be offering our sixth guide-specific Cultural Awareness Training Course in partnership with NITA Education October 5th to 7th 2026.
This year, we are heading down South to Charlotte Cove, where we will spend time on the beautiful surrounding country.
Over the last four years, we’ve held five courses around the island with over 60 guides participating in what is a wonderful and rich learning opportunity.
One of the core principles of the TWGA is to promote education, interpretation and community education on Lutruwita/Tasmania’s First Nations culture. We’re excited to continue our strong relationship with NITA and offer Lutruwita/Tasmania’s guiding and outdoor community an invaluable opportunity to deepen our collective knowledge of Lutruwita’s Aboriginal past, present and future.
