Tasmanian Election Platform

Tasmanian Election Platform

In the spirit of reconciliation, the TWGA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout lutruwita/Tasmania, the Palawa/Pakana peoples. We acknowledge their ongoing connections to land, waterways, skies, and culture, as well as the brutal and ongoing affects of invasion, dispossession, and colonisation. We pay deep respects to Palawa/Pakana Elders both past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
